Jordan VIII
Released during the 1992-93 “Three-Peat” championship season, the Air Jordan 8 was the last sneaker Michael Jordan wore before retiring (the first time). The elimination of Nike branding on the inside and outside of the shoe was major, as it affirmed that Jordan brand was strong enough to stand on its own. The sneaker’s double straps, which resemble bunny ears, earned the AJ 8 a proper nickname: “Bugs Bunnies.”
