Jordan II
Designed by Bruce Kilgore (Nike Air Force 1), the second foray into Michael Jordan’s signature Nike shoe line released during the 1986-87 season. Its price point was a steep $100, a jump from the $65 it cost to cop the AJ 1. The justification for this price change was in the sneaker’s construction. Manufactured in Italy as opposed to Asia, the use of soft leather and faux lizard skin gave a sneaker a luxury look.
